These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Meat Now (the "Service"), operated by Fintech Data Solutions ("Meat Now", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Meat Now is a suite of separately-priced tools for meat businesses; you choose which one(s) you use. Price Compare lets you add your meat distributors, upload each distributor's price sheets, review the extracted products and prices, and see the best price for each product compared across your own uploaded sheets. P&L Center lets you upload your monthly profit-and-loss statement to break down each cost as a share of revenue and build a budget; it is a planning and decision-support tool only (see section 9).
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. One company (tenant) per account. You must be authorized to bind your business to these Terms.
3. Plans, features, trials & billing
- The 14-day free trial applies to Price Compare only. No charge is made during the Price Compare trial; your first payment is on day 15. Smart Source and P&L Center have no free trial — they are billed when you activate them (see below).
- The Service is made up of separately-priced features that you choose. There is no single fixed price — your total depends on the feature(s) and plan you select, and the price of each is shown to you before you confirm:
- Price Compare — $8.99 per month, billed monthly in advance.
- Smart Source — a quarterly plan (billed every 3 months in advance) offered in three tiers, each of which may optionally be upgraded ("supercharged") at a higher rate. You may hold only one Smart Source plan at a time. Smart Source has no free trial — the first quarter is charged when you activate it.
- P&L Center — $19.99 per month, billed monthly in advance. P&L Center has no free trial — the first month is charged when you activate it, and it renews automatically each month until canceled.
- You may combine features — for example, Price Compare together with a Smart Source plan. Each feature is billed on its own schedule, and your total is simply the sum of the features you have chosen. You are only ever charged for what you select.
- We may offer additional features in the future; if you add one, it is billed in addition to your existing selections at the price shown when you add it.
- Payments are processed by Square. We do not store your full card details — Square handles card data. Card processing and transaction fees may apply.
- Each feature renews automatically (Price Compare monthly; Smart Source quarterly; P&L Center monthly) until canceled. You may cancel any feature at any time; access continues through the end of that feature's paid period.
- If a payment fails, the affected feature may move to past due and may be suspended until payment succeeds.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Our 1:1 Custom Build engagements are not part of these self-serve plans; they are provided separately under their own Services Agreement.
4. Your data & ownership
You retain all ownership of the price sheets, distributor lists, and other content you upload ("Customer Data"). We do not sell your individual Customer Data. We process Customer Data only to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
5. AI processing
To match and normalize product names across distributors, the Service may send product descriptions from your uploads to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) for classification. Only the text needed to classify products is sent. See the Privacy Policy and DPA for details. AI results are advisory; you review and approve matches before they affect your best-price comparisons.
6. Aggregate & anonymized data
We may create and use aggregated and anonymized statistics derived from usage of the Service (for example, regional price benchmarks). Such data never identifies you, your business, or your individual prices, and is not attributable to any single customer. We will never disclose your individual Customer Data to other customers or third parties as a product.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or access other tenants' data, no reverse engineering, no uploading content you lack rights to, and no resale of the Service without our written consent.
8. Availability
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meat Now is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or procurement decisions made using the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Pricing comparisons are informational; you are responsible for your purchasing decisions. P&L Center is a planning and budgeting tool, not financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Figures are automatically estimated from the file you upload and may be miscategorized or incomplete; you must verify all figures against your own records and consult a qualified accountant or tax professional before making financial or tax decisions. No outcome or savings is guaranteed.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination you may request export or deletion of your Customer Data as described in the DPA.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
