Your price sheets are competitive information. Protecting them — and keeping every customer's data separate — is built into how Meat Now works, not bolted on.
Every customer's data is isolated at the database level using row-level security. The application connects as a restricted role that cannot bypass isolation — so one company's sheets can never be seen by another.
All traffic is served over HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Payment card data is handled by Square — we never store it.
Extracted items and AI suggestions must be reviewed and approved before they affect your comparisons. Uncertain results fail closed to human review rather than guessing.
Single-use, time-limited password reset links; email verification; rate limiting against brute force; and security headers (CSP, HSTS, and more).
Key actions — uploads, approvals, routing, billing events — are recorded in append-only audit logs so there's always a trustworthy history.
We do not sell or share your individual price data. Any benchmarks are built only from aggregated, anonymized data that can't be traced back to you. See our Privacy Policy.
To match product names across suppliers, product descriptions are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for classification under contractual terms — only the text needed to classify products, and not used to train models for this purpose.
